What we store and why.
Without your consent we run nothing beyond what is needed to display the page.
Your current choice
This section shows what is set on this device. It needs JavaScript switched on. Without it the state described in the table above applies: only the necessary files are running.
| Tool | Category | Purpose | Retention | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Remembering your choice | essential | So we do not ask you the same thing on every visit. | 12 months | active |
| Working copy of the form | essential | Remembers what you typed into the contact form so a page refresh does not wipe it. It stays on your device and is removed once you send. | until you send the form | active |
| Consent record | essential | A copy of your choice on our server. Without it we could not show that we asked for consent and what you answered. | 12 months | active |
| Google Tag Manager | analytics | Loads the remaining tools after your consent. | session | not active |
| Google Analytics 4 | analytics | Counts visits and shows which content gets read. | up to 14 months | not active |
| Hotjar | analytics | Records anonymous interaction with the page. | up to 12 months | not active |
| Meta Pixel | marketing | Measures ad performance on Facebook and Instagram. | up to 3 months | not active |
| LinkedIn Insight Tag | marketing | Measures ad performance on LinkedIn. | up to 6 months | not active |
No analytics or marketing tool is currently running. When one is added, it will appear in the table above marked as active.
How long your choice lasts
Consent lasts 12 months. After that we ask again, because over a year both what we use and your own view of it may change.
A change to this policy also invalidates earlier consent. We then ask afresh rather than assume the previous answer still stands.
You can change your choice at any time, without giving a reason, using the button above.
For the curious
We store your choice in two places. In your browser, under the key gi_consent, and in a record on our server. The record exists so that we can show we asked for consent and what you answered. It holds a random identifier, the date, the version of this policy, the categories you chose and the IP address the answer came from.
The working copy of the form sits under the key gi_form_draft_1 and never leaves your device. It disappears the moment the enquiry is sent.
The typeface is served from our own server, so simply opening the page does not connect you to Google, Meta or LinkedIn. External scripts, should any be added later, will download only after the relevant category is accepted.
The legal basis is Art. 398 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law of 12 July 2024, which replaced the Telecommunications Law in this area on 10 November 2024. It permits storing data on your device without consent where this is necessary for the service you requested, provided we inform you of the purpose beforehand. That is what the bar you saw on arrival is for.
